How
to arrive and leave
From
foreigns countries
By
Air
There is great quantity of air connections toward the Airport of Ezeiza
(Ministro Pistarini), from almost all the important cities of the world
by means of several companies. Some flights toward bordering countries
are carried out from the Airport of Coastal traffic (Jorge Newbery),
located inside the limits of the city, as those that connect with the
city of Montevideo. The Airport of Ezeiza is located 47 kilometers from
city, in the suburbs, and joined to this for the freeway Ricchieri.
There are several ways to arriving to downtown from there. The less
expensive one is the urban bus (colectivo), line 86 that arrives to
the center for approximately $1.50, the taxi and the remis (similar
to the taxi), a rate that sometimes overcomes get paid for a lot $35.
Lastly, there are micros services (bus) that leave toward downtown with
frequencies of half hour, offered by several companies (Manuel Tienda
León, San Martin Bus) that get paid among $11 and 15.

bordering countries, and other cities, as the coastal of Brazil to Rio
de Janeiro and until with Lima, with a quite good service of buses,

From
Inside the Country

All the flights toward the interior connect with the Aeroparque Jorge
Newbery, located inside the city, in front of the coastal one, and very
near downtown. There are several companies that compete to each other,
generating offers toward some destinations that put the prices almost
at the level of those of Bus in some occasions, while toward other destinations
where the competition is smaller the prices are quite high. The city
of Buenos Aires is the central axis of the whole transport of the country
for what possesses connection with most of the cities that have air
traffic.

The Bus service is quite good, offering an efficient service, although
in some cases it is expensive. The same as with the flights, the competition
makes that some destinations, generally the big cities, be cheaper than
others without relationship with the distances. Also can be generated
casesin that the trip through combinations is cheaper than the direct
passage. The price of the passage usually has relationship with more
factors than that of distance. The service of trains that covered many
destinations in a time, was suspended in the decade of the 90, being
only some destinations in the county of Buenos Aires, as Mar del Plata,
with prices a little cheaper than those of the bus.
